What is the difference between a Lash Lift & Eyelash Extensions?
Lash Lifts are essentially a perm for your lashes. It enhances the curl and gives the lashes a lifted and lengthened appearance. The results are dependent on what your natural lashes look like and it lasts up to 6-8 weeks. Eyelash Extensions are more of an enhancement and add length, curl, and fullness with individual synthetic mink lashes. The price varies depending on desired look and level of artist. Lash Refills would be scheduled every 2-3 weeks to maintain maximum results.
-
What if I don't have any natural lashes?
Our lash services enhance what you already have so they may not be ideal for someone with little to no lashes. We recommend trying a lash serum consistently (like Grande Lash) for 6-8 weeks to see if you notice an improvement of your natural lashes. From there, we can explore options and may be able to build on that.
-
Can I get Lash Extensions after getting a Lash Lift or vice versa?
It really depends on the appearance of your lashes. If your lash lift grows out and your lashes look kinked or crazy, then you want to wait until they almost fully are back to their natural state. We recommend waiting at least 8 weeks (one lash cycle) before transitioning to/from lash lifts and extensions.

What's the difference between strip lashes and lash extensions?
Generally, strip lashes are applied with a latex glue and should only be worn for one day and then removed. They are also less of a commitment. Lash extensions are a more semi-permanent option that cuts down time getting ready but do require more upkeep and maintenance.
-
How long do they last?
Lash extensions can last anywhere from 3-6 weeks (about the span of an eyelash growth cycle). Ideally, lash refills would be scheduled every 2-3 weeks to maintain maximum results as our natural lashes do shed.
-
How much do they cost?
Prices can vary depending on the type of lash set/look you desire as well as the level of artist.
-
What is the difference between a classic, mix, and volume set?
Classic lashes are the most natural looking. One synthetic lash would be applied to one individual natural lash. Volume lashes are the most dramatic looking. Lash fans of synthetic lashes grouped together would be applied to one individual natural lash. Volume/Classic Mix is a hybrid of classic lashes and volume lashes.
-
What do the different (artist) levels mean?
Our lash artistry levels are based on experience (how many years lashing), speed (how much lash coverage in a certain amount of time), & retention (how many lashes are left after a few weeks).
-
Why is a Full Set 2+ hours?
The eyelash extensions we offer employ a technique where the artist applies synthetic lashes on each individual natural lash. This kind of precision work does take time but the results are beautiful and well worth it.
-
Can I still wear mascara?
We do not recommend applying mascara as it will shorten the lifespan and retention of your eyelash extensions.
-
Can I still wear eyeliner?
Yes. Just be sure to cleanse your lashes well at the end of the day with lash cleanser and a brush.
-
I have sensitive eyes... will these irritate them?
Eye pads, surgical tape, and a glue containing acrylic is used throughout the duration of the service so eye redness and irritation is possible but shouldn't last an extended period of time. If excessive irritation occurs, we ask that you please contact us to inform us and send us pictures as soon as possible.
-
Will it damage my natural lashes?
Our artists do our best to respect the integrity of your natural lashes so the extensions should cause little to no damage. If you've been getting lash extensions for an extended period of time, we recommend taking a break for at least 8 weeks and/or using a lash serum (like Grande Lash).
-
I got my lashes done somewhere else but I need a fill... can I schedule an appointment?
We do not fill over other studio's/artist's work outside of La Belle. We ask that you come in for a Lash Consultation prior to scheduling so that we can book you for the proper service and timing.
-
Can I get them removed?
Yes. You can get them removed at anytime or choose to allow them to shed naturally.
-
I've gotten lash extensions in the past but ended up having an allergic reaction, can I try again?
An allergy to lash extensions can spontaneously occur at any point in time. We do offer a 30 minute patch test for $50 for anyone wanting to try them again.
