STAYING ON TOP OF NEW TRENDS
I’ve been asked what we do to stay on top of new trends in the industry. In this week’s blog, I’m sharing our approach to new trends.
We Put Client Safety First
While we love to stay on top of a trend, we put the client’s happiness and safety first. It’s always about breaking down the science behind it, first, to make sure the trend is safe for the clients.
When a new trend comes out, we usually watch it for a while, and learn the science in-and-out before offering it to a client, to make sure they will be happy with the service.
We Consider the Long-Term Ramifications
When a new trend drops, it’s important to consider what are the long-term ramifications of the trend. Even though something might look good immediately in a before-and-after photo — what will it look like in 1 month, 1 year, 5 years down the road? I do not put our stamp on trends that I feel in my gut won’t be beneficial to the client in the long run.
We want to educate clients that it’s important to think of how something will heal or grow out, or effect them in the long run before jumping on a new trend.
